JTSMA Chat Group

The JTSMA Chat Group is a general forum for any questions or suggestions from people whose lives are affected by SMA.

Even if you belonged to the old chat group you will need to join this one separately.

How to access the JTSMA Chatgroup
  1. If you already belong to the JTSMA group (or have been invited to join) have your password to hand, click on the Smartgroups logo below and enter your e-mail address and password in the page which follows.
    • If you have COOKIES set on your computer you will get straight to the JTSMA Chat Group if you have already clicked the [Remember Me] button on the SmartGroups entry page on a previous occasion.

    • If you don't know what Cookies are, click the [Remember Me] button when you first use the page and your computer should look after you.

JTSMA at Smartgroups
  1. If you have already joined SmartGroups your password will work for the JTSMA group (and all other SmartGroup chat groups).

    You will still have to request membership of the JTSMA group, though, since it is moderated and private. To do this send an e-mail using the address below requesting membership (do not put any other details in the message). After a while you will get an e-mail inviting you to join the group and your SmartGroups 'Your Groups' list will include the JTSMA Chat Group

    • After you have received the e-mail from the JTSMA you can access the group by following step 'A'.

  1. If you want to join the JTSMA group as a new Smartgroups user, think of an easily memorable password and then click on the Smartgroups logo above and follow the instructions.

    You will receive an e-mail back after a few minutes welcoming you to SmartGroups and giving more information.

    • Exit the Smartgroups page, you will find this page is still on your screen.

    • Now follow step 'B'.

NOTES
  • There is a personal page to fill in your details on the group's pages, please take the time to fill it in. You can add or alter your details at any time if you wish.

  • The group is moderated so spam and stupid stuff will be filtered out, but please feel free to express what you feel about SMA related things freely. The moderator will not edit the content of genuine opinions posted here.

  • Please do not give postal addresses, etc, unless you really mean to do so. As this is a chat group, remember anything you post is readable by anybody who joins the group.
